The aim is to delve into architectural and constructive thinking and to recognise and understand building construction; to identify the feeling for the coherence of forms by/ through the interaction of material and construction on basis of a design ... the aim is the discovery of new form principles in architecture

The process of the course alleges the following hand offs: working process = presentation 1. Concept 2. Design 3. Constructive design 4. Detail Plans have to be presented in the format of 100x140cm on hard carrier material. In the first presentation the concept will be presented on panel 1 . The second presentation presents panel 1+ 2 (concept + design) a.so.. In the last presentation all panels (1+2+3+4) have to be presented and will be pre-graded. Finals marks are given on basis of a digital hand over CD-ROM. Digital hand over comprises the content of all presentations including a booklet. Marking criteria: --design idea, concept --construction, logic usage and implementation of materials, dimensions, logic understanding of a modular constructive system --functional use, variability, flexibility --space differentiation --reaction to climatic and topographical circumstances --economical and -logical design --formal composition
