After successful completion of the course, students are able to:

• name problems in the field of construction operations
  
• compile important information of complex construction projects
• write an excursion report
  

Visit a construction site and a company relevant to the construction industry in the form of a half-day and full-day excursion.


Excursion 1: 2-day excursion:

 24.-25.10.2022:

Excursion to BAUMA Munich 2022 incl. construction site visit and overnight stay:

    Visit to a current construction site in the Linz or Salzburg area / Visit to voestalpine Stahlwelt incl. plant tour.
    Visit to Bauma Munich 2022

Registration for the excursion is possible until the 30th of September 2022 at the IBPM secretariat (AE EG 05).

Required PPE: Safety shoes


Excursion 2: 1/2-day excursion:

Excursion to the construction site "Wien Museum" with a focus on HVAC equipment in  construction.

 

Excursion 3: 1/2-day excursion:

25.01.2023:

Excursion to the U5 construction site Matzleinsdorfer Platz

For positive completion of this course you need to attend either two half-day-excursions or one full-day-excursion. Afterwards a report (approx. 4 pages) for one particular excursion has to be written.

The registration for the field trip takes place in the secretariat of our institute (Karlsplatz 13, 1040 Wien, AE EG 05) on Tues, Wed or Thurs 09:00-12:00.
