Registration modalities
Registration takes place in the secretariat of the institute (Karlsplatz 13/234-1, 1040 Vienna; Room AE EG 05). The corresponding registration periods will be announced when the excursions can be planned.
Registration is possible on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

Required PSE:
The participants have to take care of their own personal safety equipment. This consists of: safety shoes, protective helmet and high-visibility vest. Participation in the excursion is not possible without safety equipment.

Deposit: €15
The deposit will be refunded on the day of the excursion if you participate.

Program:
Welcome and project introduction of construction section “U2/22” according to construction progress.
Welcome by the Deputy Project Manager of the construction section U2/23 "Conversion of the line U2” and presentation of the U2/23 project.
Inspection of construction work in the tunnel, consisting of track construction work and upgrading work on the platforms of the main line U2 from Rathaus (U) to Karlsplatz (U)
End & place:
Karlsplatz (U) at approx. 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m
Excursion2 - 04.07.2022 to 05.07.2022: Doka Training 2022 (Formwork construction training)

Arrival and departure:
The participants are responsible for their own travel to and from the excursion location and the transfer from the excursion location to the accommodation. It is recommended to form carpools in advance of the excursion. In this context, students can offer carpooling opportunities or need to note this on the registration form. The IBPM supports networking, but cannot guarantee complete switching.
