After successful completion of the course, students are able to:

• to differentiate between the eligibility bases and eligibility requirements for a supplement
• state basic definitions of supplement management
• identify the risk factors of a construction project
• describe the essential stages of an award procedure
• formulate and calculate supplements
• explain judicature on ÖNORM B 2110
• explicate methods for the determination of additional costs in case of disturbed bend sequence

In four theoretical units, the fundamentals relevant for supplement management are dealt with and the contractual and economic effects of changes between actual and target construction are examined. Within the framework of a seminar paper, the students will then apply the acquired knowledge on the basis of practical examples and present the results in the form of supplementary negotiations.

The methods for achieving the learning outcomes are:

• lecture with the possibility to ask a question
• calculation of examples in the lecture units
• additional self-study with the help of the script
• transcript of presented lecture contents as supplement to the script
• writing a seminar paper

Das gesamte Seminar wird in einem Online-Format (Zoom) abgehalten. Alle benötigten Links werden in TUWEL zur Verfügung gestellt. 

Für die Teilnahme am Seminar ist eine Anwesenheit am ersten Seminartag jedenfalls erforderlich! StudentInnen, die über TISS angemeldet sind und bei der ersten Anwesenheitskontrolle nicht anwesend sind, werden automatisch abgemeldet (Nachrücken der StudentInnen auf der Warteliste).

Beurteilung:

- Schriftlicher Test mit max. 50 Punkten; es gibt einen Testtermin! Für die Zulassung zur Seminararbeit ist ein positiver Test (≥ 25 Punkte) erforderlich!

- Seminararbeit mit max. 50 Punkten; das konkrete Thema wird nach dem Test bekannt gegeben.

- Abgabegespräch

Um das Seminar positiv abzuschließen, müssen sowohl der schriftliche Test als auch die Seminararbeit positiv (jeweils ≥ 25 Punkte) abgeschlossen werden!

Ein Folien-Skriptum zur LVA ist voraussichtlich ab KW 16 am Institut erhältlich. Wenn Sie ein Skript kaufen möchten, melden Sie sich bitte vorab telefonisch oder per Mail im Sekretariat an.

Es handelt sich um eine LVA für fortgeschrittene Studierende. Grundlegende Kenntnisse der Kalkulation und des Vertragsrechts aus den Bachelor Fächern VO Bauwirtschaft und Bauprojektmanagement (LVA Nr. 234.011 bzw. 234.994) und VO Kosten und Terminplanung (LVA Nr. 234.012) werden jedenfalls vorausgesetzt.

Vertiefte Kenntnisse aus den Master Fächern VU Kalkulation und Kostenrechnung (LVA Nr. 234.159) und SE Vertragsgestaltung und Vergabemanagement (LVA Nr. 234.165) sind von Vorteil.
