After successful completion of the course, students are able to apply the knowledge acquired during their studies to a local public transport project. The 1-week seminar, which is supervised in cooperation with the WIENER LINIEN, confronts students with challenges and complex questions that arise repeatedly in later professional life. With the insights and learned contents and methods, students know the interdisciplinarity and complexity of projects in the field of public transport and can apply their expertise and experience.
The content of the course varies due to the annually changing tasks which are set in cooperation with the project partner WIENER LINIEN. The focus, however, is on the requirements of a modern, barrier-free and user-friendly public transport system within a limited budgetary, temporal and spatial framework.
