The aim of the seminar is the application of knowledge from the public transport with a practical example.
Contents of this seminar is a project week in cooperation with the Vienna University of Technology Transport Association Eastern Region (VOR).The focus of the seminar, the planning of the public transport services available for a selected planning area, which will be developed in small groups on different solutions. The aim of the event is to provide the participants with an insight into the complex processes in the supply of public transport planning and apply the knowledge gained by means of a planning project. The results are presented at the end of the week as part of a presentation and a final report to the management control of the VOR.During the seminar week, the staff of the VOR with keynote speeches on the topic of service design and expert feedback on the business plan.
The project seminar is held at the Verkehrsverbund Ost-Region (VOR) and the TU Wien.Meeting: Monday 09:55 a.m. at the entrance to the office building, Europaplatz 2, 1150 Wien
The performance test is based on the project presentation, the submission of plans and created a technical report.
For the seminar no previous experience is required. The completion of the course railways is recommended.
