Imparting the ability to assess and the many fold mechanism of operation of the transport touching the human behaviour and quality of life in a adequate way. Imparting the ability to identify the feedbacks between health / quality of life and to assess them in a responsible way.

The lecture deals with the effect of traffic / mobility on human health (in the meaning of the WHO-Definition including psychical and social welfare) beside the "traditional" pollutions (air, noise,.....stress). The lecture deals with ways of loadings and expositions, the methods and treshold limit, handling of risks, the human ability of preception and adequate assessment as well as the effects of transport system on sustainable quality of life.
