Aim of course

To render conscious the ethical implications of decision making processes in all kinds of societal fields, especially in context with engineering sciences, which need to be carried by the liability awareness of each individual. To convey the principles of ethics in which all cultures coincide and therefore could serve as orientation and unshiftable standard.

Subject of course

The series of lectures, which is realized in cooperation with the initiative Weltethos Österreich, addresses the ethical aspects of ecology, climate change, transport, politics, economy, sustainable development and the fight against corruption. Beyond that, representatives of the world religions explain the ethical principles of their religions, as they are summed up in the world ethos explanation (Erklärung zum Weltethos).
