  • apply national and European Standardizations
  • explain the applicability and Limits of CE Marking of Construction Materials
  • select suitable aggregates for different fields of application
  • describe basis of complex material behavior of Bitumen and Asphalt mixtures including ageing
  • explain the characterization of mechanical properties of Bitumen and Asphalt in the laboratory and the modelling of these
  • carry out optimizations of Asphalt mixture according to the empirical and performance-based concept
  • demonstrate energy efficient Asphalt pavements
  • describe the properties of concrete relevant for traffic route construction
