After successful completion of the course, students are able to develop ideas for a local public transport project in supervised teams (supervision in cooperation with the WIENER LINIEN) and to implement or present the ideas in a suitable, graphically form in plans, sketches and posters.
The content of the course varies due to the annually changing tasks which are set in cooperation with the project partner WIENER LINIEN. The focus, however, is on the requirements of a modern, barrier-free and user-friendly public transport system within a limited budgetary, temporal and spatial framework.
The course will take place in the week from 21 to 25 February 2022 (all day, 09:00-17:00).
Lectures, interviews with experts, local inspections at project-specific locations, discussions of plans, discussion of case studies.
Elaboration of a project based on the given task, interviews with experts, elaboration of plans with CAD support and project presentation.
Final presentation and submission of a technical report.
