The objective of the lecture is to increase skills of students of civil engineering, land use planning and architecture regarding barrier free planning for public space. The knowledge transfer will comprise lectures and field trips in collaboration of leading experts in this field.

• Introduction in methods to assess barrier free design for public spaces 
• Team home work – assessment of existing public transport stations regarding their barrier freeness and recommendations to improve the existing situation towards barrier free design
