After successful completion of the course, students are able to

• name the motivational bases for employee protection measures
• name the legal basis for technical and personal employee protection in Austria and explain the advantages and contents of a management system for safety and health at work according to ISO 45001:2018
• to identify possible hazards in the workplace by means of practical examples
• to recognize the necessity for an application broad scientific and technical knowledge for occupational safety relevant workplace assessments

• Legal bases in Austria and categories of possible hazards at the workplace
• Selected examples of hazards with scientific-technical basics
• Management system for safety and health at work; standard points of ISO 45001:2018 with guidance for application and examples
