After successful completion of the course, students are able to:

- describe complex systems of municipal and industrial wastewater treatment

- recognize the breadth of the field of activity and name large players

• Inspection of full-scale municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants
• Visit of the leading trade fair for water and sewage management (IFAT Munich) with guided tour and presentations of various exhibitors

Excursion

The IFAT 2020 in Munich has been cancelled and therefore the excursion will not take place.

The next excursion will take place in summer semester 2022. (12.03.2020)

The expected date of the excursion is 6th to 8th May 2020. Details will be announced later.

You have to pay a deposit of 30,- Euro

For the registration it is required to visit the lecture wastewater treatment or another lecture from the master program at the Institut for Water Quality.
