Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to develop methods or concepts as aprt of their PhD-thesis. They are able to write research proposals, know the methodological process of a research project, evaluate their own research results critically and autonomously

Subject of course

Development of a method or concept to solve a scientific problem; how to create a research proposal; how to carry out a research project; writting scientific papers; reporting and discussion of the progress of PhD theses

Teaching methods

Regular meetings where the progress of the PhD is discussed based on pre-prepared tables, figures, etc. Discussion of the following steps, internal talks with Q&A
