Program of the Waste management Excursion 2 on 18.06.19- SS 2019
1) Morning // 09:00-13:30: On-site visit to the ALPLA Werke Alwin Lehner GmbH & Co KG (in Steinabrückl), as to the PET Recycling Team GmbH (in Wöllersdorf)
2) Afternoon // 14:00-15:30: On-site visit to the Vöslauer Mineralwasser GmbH (in Bad Vöslau)
Organisation
Registration is only possible at the Institute's secretary (Karlsgasse 13, 2. floor) from 04.03.2019 till 31.05.2019. There is a limited number of participants!
Additionally to the personal registration, a deposit of € 10,-- has to be paid. The deposit will be returned upon participation at the excursion.
IMPORTANT: You must read the guidelines of Vöslauer Mineralwasser GmbH in advance! You can find them in TISS>Documents.
The presentation of our courses for the summer term 2019 will take place on March 5, 2019 at 09:30, lecture room 268/2, Karlsgasse 13, 1st floor. Participation is not mandatory.
The excursion will be in German. The essay can be written in German or English!
Two components: compulsory attendance + submission of a report (.pdf) by e-mail to caroline.roithner@tuwien.ac.at until 31.07.2019
The report must consist of a text part (1100-1700 words) and can be completed - to an adequate extent - by tables and graphs. Font size 12 (Arial) and a line spacing of 1,5 and justification. If passages of the text are copied from the Internet or any other source (without any appropriate citation/reference), the report will be automatically graded with "nicht genügend (5)". The grading will be proceeded as soon as the reports of all excursion participants are handed in and the deadline is expired.
Evaluation criteria:
Attention: For the successful completion of the course, the attendance of the excursion and the submission of the report are required. If the report is not submitted, although the excursion was attended, the total course will be graded with "nicht genügend (5)"
Registration is only possible at the secretary of the Institute (Karlsgasse 13, 2. floor).
