Waste management excursion 2 - SS 2018
1) Morning // 08:45-12:30: MVA Pfaffenau samt Biogasanlage, Abfalllogistikzentrum Pfaffenau
Meeting point: Johann-Petrak-Gasse 7, 1110 Wien
2) Afternoon // 14:00-15:30: Deponie Rautenweg
Meeting point: Rautenweg 83, 1220 Wien
Organisation
- The excursion takes place on 6th June 2018.
- Meeting point is at 08:45 o’clock at Johann-Petrak-Gasse 7, 1110 Wien.
- The transport to the second part of the excursion, Deponie Rautenweg, has to be self organised.
- Arrival will be around 4 (PM) o’clock at Deponie Rautenweg.
Registration in TISS from 06.03.2018 till 23.05.2018 (Limited number of participants!).
Additionally to the registration on TISS, a deposit of € 10,-- has to be paid in the secretary of our institute until May 29th, 2018. It will be returned upon participation at the excursion.
IMPORTANT: You are encouraged to read the safety instructions of the MA48 in advance! You can find them on TISS.
The excursion will be in German. The essay can be written in German or English!
Two components: compulsory attendance + submission of a report (.pdf) by e-mail to sabine.dworak@tuwien.ac.at, caroline.roithner@tuwien.ac.at until 31.07.2018.
The report must consist of a text part (1700-1900 words) and tables and graphs, which should be added in an adequate extent (approx. 1 page for tables and graphs). Font size 12 (Arial) and a line spacing of 1,5 and justification. If passages of the text are copied from the Internet or any other source (without any appropriate citation/reference), the report will be automatically graded with "nicht genügend (5)". The grading will be proceeded as soon as the reports of all excursion participants are handed in and the deadline is expired.
Evaluation criteria:
- related to the excursion
- content correctness
- scope and structure
- appropriate writing style
- autonomous work
- addition of secondary literature
- referencing (in a scientific format and consistent)
Attention: For the successful completion of the course, the attendance of the excursion and the submission of the report are required. If the report is not submitted, although the excursion was attended, the total course will be graded with "nicht genügend (5)"
