- Sturdy & closed shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather. If you have your own safety shoes, please bring them.

Registration is possible from 30.10.2023 in the TISS. Afterwards you have to deposit a deposit of € 10,-- at the secretary's office of the institute (Karlsplatz 13, 2nd floor) from 6.11 until 10.11.2023 on Monday to Thursdayfrom 09:00-11:00. If we do not receive a deposit, persons from the waiting list will be moved up.

Please note that there is a limited number of participants (maximum 30 students)! There is a "first come, first serve" rule. In addition, a deposit of € 10,-- has to be paid at the registration! This will be refunded when you show up for the excursion!
The presentation of the content and goals of the Master's courses in our research area for the winter semester 2023 will take place on October 3, 2023, from 10 to 10:30 a.m. in the Seminar room AA 03 – 1 CEE (Karlsplatz 13, staircase 1, 3rd floor,). Participation is this presentation is not mandatory
Two components: compulsory attendance + submission of a report (.pdf) by e-mail to peter.hirner@tuwien.ac.at until 15.01.2024.
The report must consist of a text part (1100-1700 words) and tables and graphs, which should be added in an adequate extent (approx. 1 page for tables and graphs). Font size 12 (Arial) and a line spacing of 1,5 and justification. If passages of the text are copied from the Internet or any other source (without any appropriate citation/reference), the report will be automatically graded with "nicht genügend (5)". The grading will be proceeded as soon as the reports of all excursion participants are handed in and the deadline is expired.

- scope and structure
- appropriate writing style
- autonomous work
- referencing (in a scientific format and consistent)
- 2-5 pages
Attention: For the successful completion of the course, the attendance of the excursion and the submission of the report are required. If the report is not submitted, although the excursion was attended, the total course will be graded with "nicht genügend (5)".
