Getting in touch with problems and solutions in waste management plants.

Excursion to waste treatment plants. Connected to the waste management lectures in the winter semester.

Additionally to the registration, a deposit of 10€ has to be paid in the secretary of our institute until November 15th, 2018. It will be returned upon participation at the excursion.

The preliminary discussion to the courses takes place on 1. Oct. 2018, 10:00-11:00 AM,
Seminarraum 264/1 (Karlsgasse 13 1. Floor)

This semester, we will visit the Saubermacher Dienstleistungs AG..

• Appropriate footwear and weather-related clothes are necessary.

Participants

• The registration list on TISS will be actualised according to the deposit payments. Please note that the deposit won't be refunded, if the excursion was not attended!

Two components: compulsory attendance + submission of a report (.pdf) by e-mail to stefan.spacek@tuwien.ac.at until 01.03.2019.

The report must consist of a text part (1100-1700 words) and tables and graphs, which should be added in an adequate extent (approx. 1 page for tables and graphs). Font size 12 (Arial) and a line spacing of 1,5 and  justification. If passages of the text are copied from the Internet or any other source (without any appropriate citation/reference), the report will be automatically graded with "nicht genügend (5)". The grading will be proceeded as soon as the reports of all excursion participants are handed in and the deadline is expired.

• related to the excursion
• content correctness
• scope and structure
• appropriate writing style
• autonomous work
• referencing (in a scientific format and consistent)

Attention: For the successful completion of the course, the attendance of the excursion and the submission of the report are required. If the report is not submitted, although the excursion was attended, the total course will be graded with "nicht genügend (5)".

Erfolgt über TISS. Anmeldung ist erst dann gültig, wenn Sie sich im TISS angemeldet und 10 € Kaution im Sekretariat hinterlegt haben.
