interdisciplinary lecture in the course of which different spezialists of applied environmental protection lecture on topics of their personal experience. topics dealt with are: wastewater treatment, equilibria of limiting substances in the environment, emissions of traffic, environmental problems in relation to energy, problematic substances and water supply, problematic substances in the atmosphere, final deposition of solid waste, indoor emissions, water quality of the danube and new danube as a result of the power station Freudenau, radiation protection, air quality in Vienna, effect of toxic substances on living organisms
