Aim of course

The main purpose of Part I of these lecture series may be seen in the fact that the prospective hydraulics engineer will become familiar with the practice worldwide.

Subject of course

Discussion of selected topics in hydraulic- and dam engineering from a practical point of view. Besides general considerations concerning the English-engineering.terms, especially a wide field of hydraulic engineering projects covering all the separate units in detail are presented and discussed. Excursions to Austrian hydro-power-plants given also in English complete Part I.
