Investigation of the subsoil in the area of new landfills and contaminated sites, site investigations and evaluation of old and new landfills, design construction and monitoring of waste deposits, soil improvement, bottom liners, cut-off walls, slope engineering (for waste), stability of waste deposits, drainage of lechate, embedded pipes and shafts, detection and securing or remediation of contaminated sites, geosynthetics, capping of waste deposits, soil and groundwater cleaning, environmental and risk assessment, expertises, interdisciplinary cooperation.
Introduction to the geotechnical aspects of landfill construction and the securing and remediation of contaminated sites, methods of remediation of contaminated sites using ground engineering technologies as well as methods for eliminating and securing pollutants from the subsoil.
