Aim of course

General view of the application area of the mechanical modells for stability problems (slopes, foundations, tunnels); the use of different mathematical models; assessment of numerical results; interpretation of the rock mechanical measurements and recogintion of the effects for stability.

Subject of course

Solving rock mechanical examples (rock slopes, foundations) in order to assess the stability using graphical and numerical methods; analysis of measurements to assess the stability and to dimension the rock support.
