• General part: Principles of bridge construction including aesthetic and economical aspects. Warping torsion first-order theory. System modelling and calculation of sectional forces. Stability problems of frames, frame systems and plates in bridge constructions. Selected models and calculation methods for bridge constructions.
• Steel bridges/Composite bridges:: Primary structural systems - construction and calculation. Secondary structural systems - construction and calculation. Construction and calculation of orthotropic decks. Stayed cables. Fundamentals including aesthetic and economical aspects. Composite bridge construction. Practical calculation according to Eurocodes.
