After successful completion of the course, students are able to communicate and present their research/project results to a broad audience (scientific/ industrial), for both their professional and academic careers. In particular, this workshop will train them to communicate in an effective and clear way, deal with nerves during public speaking and hold the interest of the listener (i.e. body language, captive slides, voice tone…).
This workshop introduces methods for presenting with impact, putting the students at the center of the scene of public speaking. Students will develop their presentation skills ranging from posture and voice tone to the slide design.
The workshop will be held in English and will be divided into three/four half days with individual student work on presentations. During the workshop, active participation of the students is required to present themselves, formulate and receive constructive feedback.
FOR MASTER/PhD STUDENTS ONLY!
