Getting to know and dealing with the greening of buildings (plus combination with photovoltaics) in theory and practice
Ability to assess the impact of greening in the built environment
Basic knowledge about building greening (construction, systems, construction, combinations)
Presentation of special applications (national and international)
Presentation of investigations and evaluations carried out at the research area
Excursion to practical examples of green objects
Meeting point is every time in front of the building. Please be on time!
Within the frame of several research projects vertical greening systems have been installed in and on different school buildings in Vienna. Every lecture will take place at another of these school buildings. First there will be a guided tour through the school and afterwards technical lectures and presentations will be held.

The following prerequisites must be fulfilled for an overall assessment:
Attendance obligation for all appointments (except in case of illness)
Presentation and elaboration of international greening examples based on specific key questions
15-minute presentation in groups of 3-4 persons
