After successful completion of the course, students are able to develop building constructions in the context of planning, design, construction and structural realisation. Students are familiar with the tasks of future, circular and resource-saving construction. Students are able to grasp building construction in a holistic approach, work cooperatively with architects and develop a common language.
The "Austrian Pavilion @EXPO 2025 Osaka" will be redesigned together with master students of architecture. The architecture students will be supported by civil engineering students. The design, which will be created under the overall theme "Designing Future Society for Our Lives", will focus on lightweight construction, sustainability, life cycle and ease of assembly and disassembly.
