Learning outcomes
After successful completion of the course, students are able to put the teaching content into practice, as eg. Welding processes (submerged arc welding, other welding processes (laser-, electron beam-, plasma-, stud arc-, cold pressure-, explosive-, magnetically impelled arc butt-, electro slag-, high frequency-, ultrasonic-, thermit-, friction welding), cutting and other weld preparations)), cracks in welds, fracture and fracture types, special chapters of industrially used welding processes, steels for cryogenic applications, corrosion and heat resistant steels, nickel and nickel alloys, aluminium and aluminium alloys, titanium and other metals and alloys, plant facilities, welding jigs and fixtures
