Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to put the teaching content into practice, as eg. Introduction in welding technology, welding processes, autogenous welding and similar processes, basics of electronic, welding power sources and the electric arc, manual metal arc welding, MIG-MAG-welding, filler wire welding, TIG-welding, submerged arc welding, other welding processes (laser-, electron beam-, plasma-, stud arc-, cold pressure-, explosive-, magnetical impelled arc butt-, electro slag-, high frequency-, ultrasonic-, thermit-, friction welding, cutting and other weld preparations), brazing, soldering, high temperature brazing, welding equipment, safety and security, quality control during production, practical exercises: welders qualification, autogenous welding and cutting, laboratory exercises and demonstrations (autogenous cutting, brazing, plasma welding and cutting, submerged arc welding, resistance welding, friction welding, electron beam- and laser welding, other welding processes)
