Learning outcomes
After successful completion of the course, students are able to put the teaching content into practice, as eg. Structure and properties of metals, alloys and phase diagrams, iron carbon alloys, production and designation of steels, behaviour of structural steels in fusion welding, cracking phenomena in welded joints, fractures and different kinds of fractures, unalloyed steels, introduction into corrosion, demonstrations, cast irons and steels, destructive testing of materials and welded joints
