Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to put the teaching content into practice, as eg. Safety and security, welding processes, introduction into gas metal arc welding (MAG, MIG, filler wire, TIG), gas welding and cutting, cutting and weld preparation, welding positions and joint preparation, quality control during production, practical exercises: welding procedure specification, education of welders, welding equipment, measurement, control, and registration of welding data, types of defects and evaluation, welding laboratory, welding exam (MAG or TIG), autogenous welding and cutting, TIG or metal arc welding (MIG/MAG, solid, filler wire), demonstrations: autogenous welding and cutting, brazing, plasma welding and cutting, submerged arc welding, resistance welding, friction welding, electron beam welding, laser welding, other welding processes
