Aim of course

After successful completion of the course, students are able to recognize and map characteristic damage patterns on buildings and individual objects made of natural stone and to interpret them with regard to the possible causes of damage. A basic knowledge of basic renovation and restoration methods can also be demonstrated, which can be applied in accordance with the rules of modern monument preservation.
