Stress tensor, strength criteria, strain tensor, principal of virtual power, work/energy/elasticity, basics of beam theory, loss of stability
The first exercise, including explanations on the organistation of VO and UE is scheduled for Wednesday, 17th October 2018. On Thursday, 4th October 2018 and Thursday, 11th October 2018 there will be a VO instead of UE. More information on the schedule can be found in the calender, available in the download area.

Please consider:
-) Students, starting their civil engineering studies from WS17/18, have to complete the STEOP before registration for this course. Without passing the STEOP, participation is not possible.
Two written exams. In total, at least 50% of the points are required for passing.
Participation in the substitute exam is ONLY possible when missing one of previous two regular exams.
Registration is required for participation in the written exams as well as for access to the TUWEL-course. A certificate will be issued after participation in at least one exam.
