After successful completion of the course, students are able to independently adapt computer codes for multiscale material modelling, and to apply them for quantifying the behavior of given material systems.
With reference to the COVID-19 University and Higher Education Ordinance of the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research, the Institute for Mechanics of Materials and Structures at the Vienna University of Technology has put COVID-19 remote examination regulations into effect on April 29, 2020. Until further notice, the distance examination regulations replace the face-to-face examination regulations that were valid before.

Method:
The courses take place online with the help of the Zoom video conference system. The exchange of information between lecturers and students also takes place via the TUWEL course of the course. Electronic documents are also made available via the TUWEL course.
