After successful completion of the course, students are able to analyse results from commonly used mechanical tests performed on biological tissues. Students will be also able to distinguish advantages from a variety of test mechanical tests depending on the length scale they desire to explore.

With reference to the COVID-19 University and Higher Education Ordinance of the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research, the Institute for Mechanics of Materials and Structures at the Vienna University of Technology has put COVID-19 remote examination regulations into effect on April 29, 2020. Until further notice, the distance examination regulations replace the face-to-face examination regulations that were valid before.

Method:
The courses take place online with the help of the Zoom video conference system. The exchange of information between the lecturer and the students will also take place via the TUWEL platform of the course. Electronic documents are also made available via the TUWEL platform.
