Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to follow the obligatory classes in Mechanics, building physics and experimental methods in CE. Thus, they should become easier paired with a deeper understanding.

Subject of course

MECHANICS: mass and graviation, force and equilibrium, mechanical work and energy, power, kinematics of the linear motion, dynamics of the linear motion, mechanical properties of solids, fluids, and gases; electricity and magnetism: charge and electric field, electric current, magnetic field, fundamentals of the electrical measurement

Teaching methods

Preparation of the most important physical relationships that are relevant in civil engineering; calculating exercise examples.

Additional information

All documents are made available in TUWEL and remain accessible to all registered students until the end of the semester.
The seminar units are presented in presence in the lecture hall. Due to the infection process, there may be changes in the LVA mode.
