Inhalt der Lehrveranstaltung

This course comprise lectures and discussions that are held in presence.

After an introduction to methodologies and paradigms

this course will continue with its 4 main parts:

  1. Formal methods
  2. Quantitative methods
  3. Qualitative methods
  4. Design methods

Methoden

The respective teachers design their blocks differently. Please pay attention to the information which will be available in the TUWEL course.

Generally, videos will be available to allow flexible timing for self-study. The dates listed in the schedule will mostly allow for discussion and Q&A

This is a Fundamental PhD Course of the Faculty of Informatics for doctoral students. This course is related to methodologies.

First-year doctoral students are advised to take this course, as its content may help them to prepare their PhD proposal.

Doctoral students in Computer Science have admission priority to this course.

The course parts will be graded with an assignment for each part. The final grade is calculated as the average grade of the assignments.

For a positive overall grade all four course parts must have been graded positive by the respective lecturer.
