Aim of course

The goal of this course is to learn from internationally recognized visiting professors research topics in different areas of Computer Science.

Visiting professors invited by the Vienna PhD School of Informatics will give a 45-minute talk about their research area.

Examination modalities

Students will be graded provided that the following requirements are fulfilled:

  • Attendance to a minimum of 4 lectures.
  • Submission of assignment.

The assignment consists of a written summary of each of the lectures. Students who attend all 6 lectures should write a summary report of 3 lectures in 3 pages. Students who attend 4 or 5 lectures should write a summary report of attended 3 lectures in 5 pages.

These summaries should be written in English and in latex (a template will be provided in TUWEL). The deadline for submission of the assignment is July 31st at 23:55h through TUWEL.
