Students will be graded provided that the following requirements are fulfilled:
- Attendance to at least 2 talks (signature on the list of participants).
- Submission of assignment.
The assignment consists of a written summary of 3 of the talks attended.
For students who attended 3 talks this report must comprise at least 3 pages for each talk.
Students who attended 4 or more talks may choose 3 of those for their report and give a summary of at least 2 pages for each.
Students who could attend only 2 talks submit a report of 9 pages overall. This report comprises summaries of the 2 talks attended, at least 3 pages each. Optionally, one or both of these reports can be extended by a review of some suitable related literature (one or more scientific papers on the topic of the talk, not necessarily authored by the presenter of the talk).
Eligible talks are those offered in winter term 2018/19 and summer term 2019; any combination of those may be chosen.
These summaries should be written in English and in latex (a template is provided in TUWEL). The deadline for submission of the assignment is August10 at 23:55h through TUWEL.
