Aim of course

PhD students should - using case studies and their own PhD work - delevop and evaluate innovation projects.

Subject of course

Identification and development of innovation and business ideas, business models and plans. This part is based on the students’ PhD topic. Evaluation of models and plans. Following an introductory part the students have to prepare and do two presentations about:

  1. NABC and business model
  2. Business plan final presentation

  In addition they have to deliver a final report.

This is a course of the Vienna PhD School of Informatics (2nd year's students).

The course will be held by G.Gottlob, H.Werthner, Y. Pigneur (University of Lausanne) and  M. Cusumano (MIT Sloan School of Management)
