After successful completion of the course, students are able to explain the basic concepts and techniques of quantum computing and use the necessary tools from physics and mathematics. Essential register operations as the basis of a quantum assembler are clear. Basic algorithms and their representations are understood. Fundamental properties of quantum information such as teleportation, superdense coding or no-cloning are recognized. The meaning of entangled states and quantum parallelism are clear. Also the limitations of NISQ machines and the basics of quantum error correction are understood.
Virtual attendance required.
The event takes place live via Webex, no videos are offered, Videos will be available early September 2022.
