Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to develop a solution for a complex problem in the area of business informatics / computer science, i.e. to plan, implement, evaluate and document a prototypical software solution.

Subject of course

During the course of this project students will realize a practical assignment beginning with a coarse-grained requirements definition culminating in a final prototypical realization. The exact definition of your project assignment will be done together with your advisor and depends on the chosen topic, the topic's complexity, and the size of your team (if you are working in one).

In addition, in 2023S, interested students would have the chance to familiarize themselves with coding practices developed in cloud computing, particularly at Amazon AWS. For this, a TU Wien/Amazon AWS project course is offered in the summer term 2023. This special track starts with a project kick-off event: March 16, 3pm, FAV H2.

This project will accommodate a project course on "Cloud and coding enablement at Amazon AWS", taught by the AWS Austrian Solution Architect team. Further details on the project initiative with AWS are available at: http://lkovacs.com/AWS_TUW_CS2.html. Students who would like to attend this TU Wien/Amazon AWS project course, are required to register on TISS, within the registration platform of 194.075 Project in Computer Science 2 (2023S).
