After successful completion of the course, students are able to
- gather, analyse and specify the requirements of one (or several) user group(s)- design, implement and evaluate a prototype using an iterative user centered design process (UCD).
Identifying a user group and gathering its requirements.Creation of mockups and wireframes as deliverables for an acceptance of a fictional product (i.e. its prototype). Implementation and subsequent evaluation of a prototype. Evaluation will take place with real users during a formally planned usability test. Discovered (usability) problems will be solved conceptually or by re-implementation.
Design, implementation and evaluation of a project in the field of human computer interaction in a user centered design process. Regular meetings with a supervisor to discuss progress.
