Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to...

…understand the cognitive processes in the brain of the players (Why want to play people and especially children?)

…understand the relationship between game mechanics with particular social and psychological dynamics which can be experienced during the games to be derived therefrom special game-world experiences.

…understand the importance of creation in games by means of semiotics and narrative forms.

…understand the social conditions and effects of gambling, such as identity in role-playing, deepening and differentiation of social ties and skills, etc.

…understand cultural contexts and manifestations of digital games as "art games", political games, Gamification, the representation of violence in computer games, etc.

Subject of course

- Discussion of many examples of current, special and very different games 
- MDA Framework to reflect the expansion and differentiation of ability on game ideas, to argue this and formulate.
