After successfully completing the course, students are able to explain and implement the basic algorithms of digital image processing. The exercise is research-oriented. The students implement image processing tasks of their own choosing in groups of five participants.

Application of the approaches and methods presented to the lecture 186.822 Introduction to Visual Computing. Deepening the understanding of the theory with the help of applied exercises.

Students have complete freedom to choose their projects and choose the methods required to implement them. The evaluation should be based on the project reports and the individual contribution to the project.
