After successful completion of the course, students are able to use quality criteria for the assessment of e-learning systems. They are also able to develop prototypes of e-learning systems that are designed according to the theories presented in the accompanying lecture. They are also able to justify their design decisions. They are especially able to relate their design to a relevant educational theory.
This lecture addresses the issue of the foundations of human perception and reasoning, as well as learning. In this lecture, students will learn how to conduct practical exercises related to e-learing (e.g., development of a prototype of an e-learning system). The goal of the lecture is the design of e-learning in a way that is inspired by educational theories.
practical exercises to learn the guided development of e-learning systems, development of such an e-learning system and critical discussion of the advantages and disadvantages of the chosen design
Presence at the lecture, submission of a prototype and of a reflective essay on the advantages of e-learning
