Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to implement a larger task from the areas of visual computing, pattern recognition or image processing or computer vision. This includes the analysis of the given problem, the selection and justification of the chosen methodology and the proof of correct functionality.

Subject of course

Implementation of the topics treated in the basic lectures within a larger, technically oriented software project, programming.

Teaching methods

Didactical Approach: In regular meetings with the supervisor (usually every week or every other week) the individual steps of the intended software project are discussed: requirements specification, coarse design, detailed design, implementation details, testing scenarios, result production, finishing of project documentation, debriefing.
