After successful completion of the course, students are able to...

1. generate a research question or aim to focus work
2. conduct a search of academic literature on a specific topic
3. critically read and discuss academic peer reviewed literature
4. synthesise literature into a coherent argument
5. write a well structured essay on the focus topic
6. present key insights orally

Topic areas will be chosen in discussion with the students.

Example topics could include:

- human-centered AI

- assistive technology in care and work contexts

- technologies for children and family well-being

- personal informatics

- technologies for emotional expression and creativity

Seminar group discussions, presentations of work in progress

Preliminary meeting:  <2 Oct 15:00-16:30> attendance in zoom is mandatory
