Aim of course

This course gives a comprehensive introduction to the theoretical foundations of modern cryptography. Students will learn how security properties are formalized and how to prove that a certain cryptographic scheme fulfills a certain property.

Examination modalities

A midterm exam and a final exam, on the first and second part of the course respectively. In order to pass, students have to take at least 50% of points in both.  There will be a retake exam at the end of the winter break.
