Students shall learn to work independently on a research project of and adequate size. Thereby, project management is an important task. The students will be individually supported and advised.

Projects may include the development of (embedded) software up development/engineering/testing/adapting of distributed systems and their integration into the (Industrial) Internet of Things.

In addition, in 2023S, interested students have the chance to familiarize themselves with coding practices developed in cloud computing, in particular those developed at Amazon AWS. For this, a particular TU Wien/Amazon AWS project course is offered in summer term 2023. Students who would like to attend this TU Wien/Amazon AWS project course are required to register on TISS, within the registration platform of 184.693 Project in Computer Science 2 (2023S).
