Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to

- write a scientific publication
- conduct a literature search for related solutions
- present and defend their results in an oral presentation
- accomplish time management in a small project

Subject of course

This course permits the first steps in scientific work on selected topics of computer engineering. Based upon a (typically self-assigned) publication on some suitable topic in this field, a short paper shall be written and presented during the semester.

Teaching methods

Students will be evaluated based on the quality of practical implementation and the publication, including the presentation.
